The diagram below shows how orange juice is produced.
The diagram gives information about the process of orange juice production.
In general, there are a total of 17 steps and include three main stages: delivery, storage and finally selling and consuming.
Firstly, fresh oranges are transported to a factory, where oranges are washed by a hygienic machine. Then, these oranges are extracted into two substances which include orange pulp and fresh orange juice. Animals feed the orange pulp and fresh orange juice is packaged and sold in shops, or stored in a refrigerator truck to be evaporated.
Next, the evaporation process involves boiling the water away until the residue i.e. concentrate juice is left. After that, this liquid is canned and stored until being transported to a warehouse where water is added to make orange juice - this final product is then packaged products. Finally, packaged orange juice is shipped to the supermarkets and shops for the need of consuming.
