Overall, it is clear from the charts that Europe showed a significant amount in international passengers as well as the percentages of shares, while Africa represented the smallest figure in both charts.
To commence with, the number of international passengers in Europe and Asia/Pacific were up to 856 million passengers and 496 million passengers in 2019, respectively. However, these data experienced a considerable decrease in the next year, which were 370 million passengers in Europe and 172 million passengers in Asia/Pacific. Similarly, Middles East, North America and Latin America/Caribbean showed the same stereotype. Especially, only 74 million global travelers represented in Africa in 2019 and went down to 39 million in 2020.
In terms of the major amount, Europe accounted for 47% share of total and over two ten of those in Asia/Pacific. The segment of share in Middle East, North America, Latin America/Caribbean and Africa was 31% of total share in 2020.
