This bar chart demonstrates information about the average amount of money which British people paid for all fields such as rent, utility bills, transport, groceries and entertainment in one month from 1990 to 2010. Overall, it clearly can be seen that the British spending on rent, utility bills, transport, and groceries increased in the survey of the period. Meanwhile, a reserve can be seen in entertainment

As can be seen from the chart, in 2019 the amount of money that the British spent on rent reached the highest of nearly 450 pounds, which was twice as much as transport and four times that of utility bills. In the next 20 years, the spending on rent increased strongly to 600 pounds. In this survey period, the money for rent always topped the list.At the same time, transport and utility bills increased significantly the same amount of pounds by 80 from 1990 to 2010.

While the cost of rent, utility bills and transport increased markedly, the price of entertainment and groceries had a small change. In the year 1990, the spending on groceries was nearly 330 pounds, which was three times higher than entertainment. In the 20 following years, the cost of entertainment decreased by 10 pounds.Meanwhile, that of groceries increased by 15 pounds. That can see the change in these two areas is very small.
