The line graph compares the percentage of people who was laboring age citizens of four different nations between 1960 and 2050.
Overall, the ratio of the working population in the last year declined compared to the first year, except in the United States which was unchanged. Most of the figures tend to rise then fall, but in Germany there is the opposite trend.
Looking at the graph for more details, the number of people in Germany was slightly higher than that of Japan in 1960. But then 10 years, German citizens dropped significantly to 63%, while Japanese leaped at 68%. Over the next 20 years, instead of going down, the Japanese population has grown to touch the highest point, followed by Germans reaching the second highest level after increasing by 6%. Estimation reveal that these figures will plummet in the future, the lowest is the rate of the Japanese population at 52%.
In the other two trends, the citizens in United States were minimally lower than that of France in the first year. Twenty years later, there was a remarkable surge in the number of workers of both countries to about 66%, however, the proportion of laboring age adults began to fluctuate and slipped back to 64% in the year 2020. According to current prediction, in the United States that population will crash to 60% and in France it will tumble to 57% in the final year.
