The diagram given depicts the process of collecting rainwater in order to make use of drinking in a town in Australia.
It is clear from the diagram that there are 5 major steps needed to purify rainwater. Additionally, the process starts with collecting stage and ends with pure water returning to the houses.
At the initial step, rainwater is collected on the roofs of the houses and transported to an underground pipe called drain. Next, it is brought to a special machine known as water filter to remove dusts. After that, the water goes through a pipe which leads to the storage launch, where water is stored.
The process continues with the step at which water moves through a pipe to go into water treatment machine, where chemicals are used to sterilized the water. Subsequently, sterile water continues to go through pipe and returns to the houses where it is ready for the consumption and utility of inhabitants.
