The table below provieds data on the number of tourists from overseas visiting Canada in the years 1950,1980 and 2015
The provided tabular chart describes the number of international tourists originating form various countries, including the USA, India, Nigeria, and the Philippines, visiting Canada in the years 1950, 1980 and 2015.
Overall, the largest number of people visiting Canada through the period were from the United States, while the visitors for India had a massive growth in the years sampled.
In 1950, around 4.3 million of tourists from the USA visited Canada and the figures grew consequetly in the years preceding, with 11.5 millions visitors in the year 2015. In the meantime, visitors from India had a slight growth from 1950 to 1980, with the figures being 5,000 for the former and 14,000 for the latter. While in 2015, the growth in the visitors saw a sharp incline, with 550,000 tourists entering Canada.
Initailly, the number of tourists from the Philippines, with 40,000 people visited in the year, was double of that for visitors form Nigeria.The figures then grew for both categories, with the figures for the Phillippines leading that for Nigeria throught the period.
