The pie chart illustrates the percentage of energy consumption by Australian citizens in six various tools, while the second pie chart which is below the first shows the impact of energy use on the production of greenhouse gas.
It is obvious that heating has the majority of portion use among people and the lowest percent related to cooling tools. In the second graph, all groups for greenhouse gas emissions have increased except heating.
As can be seen, Australian households use heating energy more than other groups by 42%. Water heating by more than a quarter is located in the second place. Other appliances have less than twenty percent and the other three remaining groups are less than ten percent. Although heating has the highest percentage using energy, it reduces around 27 percent to emission greenhouse gas which is a very useful energy for the environment and people should use this more than others. Other appliances have increased by about 12% from 15 percent. Refrigeration by increasing 7% has approximately the same percentage as heating but this energy can emit double the gas when used and is dangerous. Water heating did not change a lot and the two last groups not only did not change a lot but also their percentage are under ten percent yet.
As a result, the society of Australia has a good tendency to use heating energy which produces less gas and it is a good point for the environment.
