the table provides information about the percentage of national consumer expenditure in five different countries in 2002. in general, it is clear from the data given that the percentage of the first category which was included food,drink and tobacco had highest level in all five different countries in 2002. in contrast, the proportion of the third category included leisure and education had lowest level in all five countries. looking more closely at the table show that the amount of consumer spending on the first category had greatest level in turkey with 32.14% while clothing and foot wear were only 6.63 percent and the percentage of national consumer at the third category was only 4.35%. furthermore, consumer spending on first category in Ireland had second level with 28.91 percent. at this category the percentage of consumer spending for Italy,Spain and Sweden was not noticeable with 16.36%, 18.80% and 15.77percent respectively. in the second category, the amount of consumer spending for Italy had highest level with 9 percent while for Sweden had lowest level with only 5.40%.
in conclusion, the first category had highest percentage rather than other categories and Turkey had highest level of percentages among other countries.
