You are an employee in an office, working on one big project together with your colleagues. Write a letter to your manager to inform him/her that some of the employees make mistakes that affect your work. In your letter say
- What mistakes have you encountered so far?
- Explain that others employees complained about the same mistakes.
- Suggest a solution to solve this problem
Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing to bring your attention to some issue which we have in relation to our new project.
I am a senior developer, working on Sales software in your organization and I am in charge of other programmers as well. We have recently released the beta version of our new software which tested by unit test department last month. Although all of the errors were solved, a deluge of complaints about this new version was sent. Our Initials review is shown that our colleagues in unit test department did not test the major part of the software that causes all those complaints.
I noticed it seems that was not their first time and other teams have faced with the same problem as well. They told me, to tackle this problem, firstly they spoke with someone who was in charge on that unit and secondly however they try to contact you and share their problem, they did not succeed and their problem still exists.
I think the best solution to solve this matter as soon as possible would a disciplinary meeting with staff and try to stop this malpractice as soon as possible. I would be happy to meet you in person and provide any further explanations on this issue if needed.
