The given chart compares the data of five different levels of educational attainment by australian males and females in 1999.

According to the data given in the chart, the highest proportion of men i.e 90% opted for skilled vocational diploma in contrast to that, the least number of women of about 10% considered this degree. Nearly, 70% of women showed interest in undergraduate diploma which was almost double the number of men but same proportion of men chose postgraduate diploma in which only 30% were women. The Bachelor's degree was attended by 55% female while male surpassed their number in Master's degree.

To sumup, Males outnumbered females in three different levels Skilled vocational diploma, Post graduate diploma and Master's degree whereas female exceeded male in Undergraduate diploma and Bachelor's degree
