two approaches of personality building are compared
The lecture that followed the passage contradicts the passage.
Firstly, the speaker suggests that the conflict approach is not the only approach that play a vital role in development of human personality by bring in from the approach based on "fulfillment".
Secondly, the speaker describes the factors that influence the fulfillment approach. One main factor is presence of a strong force in oneself called "Satisfaction" apart from will to work. This is even considered to be the only factor that plays a crucial role in this approach. This factor is absent and besides the factors that are present are not prominent in the distinguishing the personality of person's in conflict approach suggested in the passage.
Thirdly, the speaker describes the way one's personality is built in this approach. And this method goes as follows. In our daily life we perform many tasks. The same manner a coin has two sides, the results of the tasks have also two types. They are: victory and failure. In this approach the personality of a person develops in such a way how he receives these results and how he envisages his way of life based on this.
All in all, the lecture's approach is more pervasive. And is more pragmatic approach rather than the approach suggested by the passage where the difference between personalities cannot be easily distinguished by just contrasting his behaviour in conflicts.
