The pie charts demonstrate the comparison of energy production in France between 1995 and 2005. Energy produced by gas, coal, petro, nuclear and other.
In 1995, gas, coal and petro comprised of most energy production, with percentage of 29.63%, 29.80% and 29.27% respectively. Nuclear constituted a small percentage, which is 6.4%. Other source of energy composed 4.9% of energy production. Thus, gas, coal and petro took up big section, whilst nuclear and other source have small section.
In 2005, coal contribute 30.93% of energy production, which is the largest percentage. Followed by gas, the percentage is 30.31%. Petro made up 19.55% of energy production. Nuclear and other source share nearly the same percentage, which is 10.10% and 9.10 percentage respectively.
In comparison between 1995 and 2005, the percentage of coal and gas did not change much. The percentage of petro has decreased from 29.27% to 19.55% from 1995 to 2005. Nuclear and other source increased in ten years. Nuclear increased 3.7% and other source increased 4.2%.
