The graph illustrates the accumulation of the population aged 65 and over. The study of those starts at 1940 until the prediction of the next 40 years ahead. The figures are calculated in the range of 0-30 %.
Overall, the population of elderly people in the three countries will rise significantly in the future years, even tough, at the previous years, the populations of old Americans and Japanese fluctuated in the number of accumulations.
the elderly Sweden always increased slightly 5% in every decade. Consequently, at 2040, the number will stop at 25%.
The number old Americans and Japanese went up and down. The number of aged people in the USA increased 5% in two decades between 1960 and 1980, but at 40 years after, the numbers decreased slightly 2%. The fluctuation occurred too with elderly people in Japan. The number decreased presumably 4% in four decades, 1940-1980, and went up again to 5% at 2000. however, besides those fluctuations, the proportions of elderly of those couple counties will lead up drastically to over 20 % and 25% respectively.
