Your local newspaper publish an advertisement asking people to help with environment projects in your area
Write a letter to the project manager to offer your help
Describe a local environmental issue that affects you
Explain what would like to do to help
And suggest how problem could be avoided in the future
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to you regarding your advertisement in the newspaper and I would like to offer my help. In my district, there is a serious issue, which I wish to bring your attention.
Unfortunately, the Roxy Square in Misr EL-Gadida is getting more unclean due to piles of garbage have accumulated. It is an unpleasant scene in the square so I stopped visiting it. I suggest that to solve this issue, I intend to launch an awareness campaign to stop littering in the square. I hope to inform people the adverse consequences of disposing of waste in the park via not only posters but also social media. Furthermore, I would be happy to pick up the rubbish to clean the square. To obviate the problem in long term, I think that more bins should be placed there. Moreover, offenders should be fine for littering by the local council or police.
I hope that this assists us to make our place cleaner and better. I looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Paula
