The bar chart compares the proportion of gender of teachers in six kinds of educational in the UK in 2010
It is clear from the bar chart that women taught more in a lower educational setting. Additionally, men took part more in teaching higher levels of educational during the research period.
In nursery/pre-school and primary school, the rate of women in these two levels was highest at 97% and 92%, While the figure for men was significantly lower, at 4% and 8 % respectively. At secondary school and college, the gap between males and females represented were nearly equal.
By contrast, the percentage of men in university was higher than women approximately 70%, whereas about 30% of women. Meanwhile, private training institutes had 54% male teachers and 46% female teachers.
