The chart below illustrates the amount of Japanese tourists who travelled overseas from 1985 to 1995, additionally the graph indicates how considerably Australia participated in the Japanese tourist market during the same years.
According to the given chart in 1985, the quantity of Japanese people traveling abroad was not high and was eqaual to 5 million. From that time on, the number of tourists travelling to foreign countries increased consistently untill 1990 and reached to 11 million. In 1991 the quantity of the mentioned tourists went a little down to approximately 10 million. After that, this amount commensed to go remarkably up and became 16 million in 1995.
Taking into account the graph, it can be said that the percentage of Japanese tourists visiting Australia increased by 3% between 1985 and 1988, and the same change was observed during the time span from 1989 to 1993. However from1988 to 1989 and from 1993 to 1995 the amount of Japanese tourists in Australia decreased by 1%.
To sum it up, refering to the chart and the graph during 1985 and 1995 the quantity of Japanese tourists traveling overseas and travelling to Australia increased.
