Some students prefer classes with open discussions between the professor and students and almost no lectures. Other students prefer classes with lectures and almost no discussions. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Nowadays youngsters became more motivated to get valuable education. They have a huge desire to receive appropriate knowledge. The meaning of education differs from one to another. That is to say, people have different points of view about how educational process should be. A huge part believes, that in order to get all necessary information and skills one should be involved in discussions and have no lectures, while another part proves , that this method is ineffectual and study process should be composed only with lectures.
The first aspect to consider, professor gives all the essential information on lecture, explains different theories, uses specific reasons and examples to clarify the topic.It will give students correct direction. Moreover, students without solid knowledge will not be able to understand and consider given issue correctly, that will lead to fallible decision. However, students who are regularly involved in debates are tend to think critically, demonstrate themselves. Furthermore, they are able to think independently.
When I was studying history, my friend wanted to have some discussions. Our teacher was not against. For one month we only had debated and no lectures. Its consequence was that the whole class not only became independent, but also easily demonstrated their considerations. Nor mention, that they gained valuable knowledge. However, this knowledge was not complete. Our class missed very interesting and necessary information. It caused, that huge part of classmates incorrectly perceived the given materials and were at a crossroads.
All things considered, we shall conclude, that it is preferable to have lectures and no discussion. At first, students should get completed education, in order to be assured in their correctness. It is obvious, that every person has different point of view, but without knowledge they will make incorrect decisions. The most persuasive decision is that students should establish discussion clubs, invite their lecturers and have debates.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
