Some students prefer classes with open discussions between the professor and students and almost no lectures. Other students prefer classes with lectures and almost no discussions. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your ans

Education is the most important part of our life. People should be take education to improve their skills and quality of their life. Some people believe that classes with lectures and almost no discussions is better, others disagree. Personally, I believe that classes with open discussions between the professor and students is better for two main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
The main reason is that discussion-based classes ensure to express ideas of students. In addition, students can realize different ideas about topics, and thus they can improve their perspective and ideas. Hence, they learn take a different approach to something. My personal experience is a compelling example of this. When I was in university, last year we were discussing a case about some disease in groups. One group has 10 students, and then we discussing about epidemiology, psychology, and terminology of disease. All students told different knowledge due to the fact that we all investigated from different resources, and thus we learn different information about that disease. As you can see, if students learn in classes with discussion-based, they can both expressing their ideas and learn different knowledge.
The second reason is that discussion-based learning method improves communication skills of students. Students who learn with open discussions classes will learn speak and exchange their ideas in community eventually. They are comfortable while they are talking. For example, I can talk with others comfortably, owing to fact that we learned a lot of lessons in the open discussions classes. When I worked in hospital as a nurse, the first week that I started in there, I talked with our advisor and education nurse. Most of our friends were shiny when they talked with education nurse. I could talk with him professionally, and I could ask a lot of question on topic that I didn’t know. However, other nurses couldn’t ask what they wonder. This experience taught me that open discussions classes improve student’s communication skills.
In conclusion, I am of the opinion that discussion-based classes are better than other classes because of the fact that not only ensuring to express ideas of students, but also improving student’s communication skills. We should all encourage the schools to increase the number of classes with discussion-based.

---------------------
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
