The table presents the statistical data on the differences in the percentages of participants taking part in 6 different pursuits by genders.
A closer study of the diagram illustrates that participation in almost activities decreases with age with the notable exception of mediation for both sexes and jogging and fishing for female and male respectively.
A series of data revealed that basketball is the most favoured sports game from 21- to 45- year- old men. In contrast, the oldest age group in male likes to take part in fishing most with more than two fifths (42%). Additionally, over three different age groups, fishing’s participants surged dramatically by a third for men. However, it is the least favourite pastime for their counterparts, only a small fraction (1%) of them joins this activity and the trend falls to none of them in the older groups. In addition, mediation experiences a significant rise for women with an increase of 35%.
In conclusion, due to health reasons and the individuals’ taste, the free time pursuits fluctuate widely over three different age groups.
