The bar chart below shows defence spending in 5 countries.

The column chart above describes the budget taken from GDP for defence in 5 different countries in 2005 and 2010.
It is clear from the table that while Saudi Arabia and USA witnessed an increase in the percentage of GDP in 2010, the other three listed countries reduce or remain the percentage of GDP for defence.
In 2005, Saudi Arabia was the country spending the most of GDP on army among 5 countries mentioned with 8.2 whereas Japan spent least on defence with 1%. By 2010, while Saudia Arabia had increased their budget for army with nearly 2%, Japan had remained the same as they were in 2005. Besides, even though the percentage of GDP that American used to spend on defence was nearly a half of Saudia Arabia in both year shown, they were still in the second place.
With 0.8% higher than France’s percentage, India taken the third highest place of percentage for defence. Accidentally, both India and France had experienced a slight decrease in 2010 with 0.2% and 0.3% respectively.
