You have lost your credit card.Write a letter to the manager of your bank. In the letter explain how you lost the card? ask the manger to cancel the old card and to issue you a replacement
Dear Sir/Madam,
I like to request your bank to cancel my current credit card and replace it with the new one because I have lost my credit card during my travelling.
Yesterday I went to Sydney by train to attend the meeting with one of my office client. I usually carry my credit card with me if I run out of cash or for any other emergency situation. It is confirmed that I had my credit card with me when I reached Sydney because I used my credit card to pay my fare. Meeting was over quite before the scheduled time and there was plenty of time left for the sightseeing. Therefore, I visited few places as I had never been to Sydney before. During my tour, I accidentally dropped my card at some counter or it fell out of my purse as soon I reached my wallet to pay for my lunch at the cafe I could not find my credit card. I tried to look around but did not find it.
I am afraid that my stolen card is may be used by some unauthorized person. Therefore, you are requested to cancel my present credit card at once and issue me with a new one at the earliest possible time as I need to use it every now and then to pay my bills and make other necessary payments.
Your early kind attention in this regard is really appreciated.
Regards,
Noor Ali
