You have just moved into a new home and are planning to hold a party. You are worried that the noise may disturb your neighbour.
Write a letter to your neighbour. In your letter.
1. Introduce yourself
2. Describe your plans for the party
3. invite your neighbour to come
Dear Mr. and Ms. Smith,
I am your neighbor next door and although my family moved in a month ago, we have not had a pleasure to meet you personally. The family consists of my wife, my beloved five-year-old daughter and me. The spouse works in a local hospital as a nurse, I am an engineer in big drilling company.
On 2nd March 2017, we are going to celebrate the sixth birthday of my princess. The party starts at 7:00 pm and finishes at 10:00 pm. There will be a small band who will play musical pieces from well-known cartoons and movies. For children, a big and tasty cake has been ordered in a local restaurant that is famous for its sweets, and adult guests will enjoy eating home-cooked barbeque if there is no rain. The party may be a little bit noisy and I hope that it will not disturb you too much.
Finally, I would like to invite you to participate in the celebration. There is no need in buying any presents because just your consent on having the party will be more than enough. Of course, visiting the event appears to be an ideal occasion to learn more about each other, and hopefully, to become friends.
Sincerely yours,
Eugene Dubinchuk.
