a critical management principle is that when behavior is rewarded
Although, a critical management principle is that when behavior is rewarded. The professor disputes this action, claiming that, this act may cause many adverse problems to both the company and the employees.
First, he examines the point of increasing productivity by reward the employees of the company with many things like promotion job or money. The professor asserts that the employee will consider this award like you can say punishment because he will reward just in case of increasing the productivity. He will feel this missions that required from him something like punishment, and this will decrease the richness of the company and also will make the employee out of the mood and angry. In fact, he just needs to feel respect from his firm to his extra work.
Lastly, he counters the point of that if the company give the responsibility of the supervision of the person that he able to persuade people to achieve remarkable results, this will make a significant effect on the productivity of the employee in addition to improve the relationship between the employee and the supervisor. The professor asserts that the employee knows that the supervisor watches his work to evaluate him and evaluate his productivity. So he will prefer to be quite, and he will don't ask him about any problems that he faced it in his work, and he will don't ask him for any help to raise his rating evaluation, and this will damage the relationship between them.
