The given diagram is a figure illustrating electricity production process from Geothermal energy. Overall, this process involves five steps, which begins by using of cold water and ends up with providing electricity in the national grade by using Geothermal Power Plant.
As shown in the figure, cold water as the raw material, in the first step, is pumped down from the ground into 4.5 kilometers below ground level. After this, it can be seen that the water is injected horizontally in order to be passed in Geothermal zone, which consists of hot rocks, and then is preparing for the third step. Hot water is now pumped up to the surface of the earth from more than 4.5-kilometer depth.
The fourth stage of the electricity production process entails the conversion of the hot water into steam. As it is shown in the figure, this conversion is undergone by Condenser. Finally, in the fifth and final phase, the Turbine is rotated and powered by steam, and immediately after the rotation of turbine as a consequence, the generator is powered. Electricity energy is produced as a result of generator activity, meaning that the production of electricity takes place.
