In terms of whether the online encyslopedias are less valuable than the traditional printed materials or not, The reading and listening both contradictory to each other.
The lecture that followed the passage on there are a temendous errors and lake of credentials at online encephaolpedia more than the traditional one, gave an opposite perspective. The professor refutes this by saying that there is so hard to find any traditional materials without any mistakes. Furthermore, they are not never perfect or accurate, but the online articles easy to be corrected and erase any error. On the other hand, any error at the trditional printed materials remains for decades.
Contrary to the belief in the reading passage that there are many hackers can add any mistakable informations to the online encyclopedias, the professor pointing out the strong stratagies has been created to over come these hackers activities, first strategy is they use format in the online encyclopedias so hard for any one to change it or add it. Second, special editors can monitor these articles and eliminate any change. As a result these became reliable source.
Finally, the reading avers that we can have a wrong feedback about the online encycopedias which one is important and which one is not because they are too long. The professor challenges this idea by explaining that the traditional papers having limited space. Nevertheless, the space is not considered an issue for the online encycopedias. In addition, the acadimic article can represent agreat various accurate topics. Also, we have agreat diveristy online. Consequently, online articles are so strong.
