The Pie Charts illustrate, information regarding changes in annual spending by a school in UK in three different years 1981,1991 and 2001. Overall, it can be seen that teachers and other workers salaries constitutes about 60% of the spending in all years, while spending on furniture and school equipments fluctuated in various years.
To begin with, in 1981 teachers salaries contributed about 40% of schools spending whereas, other workers salaries consume 28% of total budget. Amount spent on resources and furniture were similar about 15% of total budget. On the other hand, insurance made up to 2% of total spending. In 1991, 50% of the total budget was spent on teachers salaries with rise of 10% from 1981 figures, while other workers salaries was 22% with reduction of 6%. Expenditure on resources was increased 5%. Furthermore, furniture spending was decreased 10 percent, and insurance expenditure rose 1%.
In 2001, teachers and other workers salaries reduced 5 and 7% as compared to 1991. However, insurance expenditure gained 5%, and spending on furniture and equipment composed 23% of total budget spending with rise of 18% compared to 1991. Resources comprised only 9% of total budget.
