The three Pie Charts below show the changes in annual spending buy particular School in UK in 1981, 1991 and 2001.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The given pie charts illustrate the changes in yearly spending in UK school in three different times 1981, 1991 and 2001.

In general, it is clear that teachers’ salaries took the majority proportion of total school spending in all three charts, while insurance took the smallest.
Only two parts of charts demonstrate stability, namely “other workers’ salaries” and “insurance”. The first shows a gradual decline, when the second shows a slight rise and dramatic increase from three percent to eight percent between 1991 and 2001.

In 1981 40 percent of the school budget went on teachers’ salaries; this figure rose to 50 percent in 1991, but fell to 45 percent in 2001.

The percentages of “resources” and “furniture” fluctuated. “Resources” reached highest peak in 1991, 20 percent; “furniture” hit the peak in 2001, 23 percent.

To sum up, according to the three charts, we can conclude that teachers’ salaries used the most of total spending.
