The bar chart provides information about the total amount of minutes counted in billions of making calls in the united kingdom and categorized into 3 groups between 1995 and 2002.
Overall, there were an upward trend in cell phone and national and international calls, while the local calls that was made by a fixed line showed a stability during the period with some fluctuations.
First of all, in the first 4 years of the study, using mobile phones for making calls was extremely low, where it scored less than 10 billions minutes until 1998. Then, it was increased sharply in the following 3 years and it was about 13 and 40 billions in 1999 and 2000 respectively, and finally reached the top in 2002 and scored approximately 45 billions minutes.
For the international calls, it was started more than cell calls around 40 billions minutes, then it increased steadily during the period till it reached the uppermost in 2002 and was achieved more than 60 billions minutes.
Finally, local calls were the biggest category, it was experienced a sharp rose in the first 4 years and reached the peak in 1999 and it was 90 billions minutes, but it showed a significant decline and stabilized in 2002 and it was about 71 billions minutes.
