Exploring history will always help people to be familiar with various things related to the nation like its rituals, cultures, behavior etc. Studying history will always improve the knowledge spectrum of a person which helps him to understand his responsibilities towards the nation. The benefit of studying history is that it explains us the similarities between modern people and ancient people. But, the main benefits of studying history are that it makes people understand their culture, heritage etc. It is required to study the history because it makes a person familiar with the great deeds done by the people in earlier times which ultimately helps a person to understand the nation perfectly.

To begin with, studying history is a very important part of life. If a person is transferred to some other country and s/he is not familiar with the culture of the new country then it becomes difficult for him to live over there. History always expresses the importance of a nation. Consider a person wanted to travel from India to another country, USA, the things which he wants to be familiar is that why that another country is important for him. He wants to be familiar with the native language of USA. And the most important thing is that the person wants to be familiar with the culture of USA. If the person is not familiar with the culture which includes dressing style, food, and goddess on which they believe, then it is difficult for that person to be a part of USA community.

On the flip side of it, history also makes the person to remain out of the illusion that people living now are different from the people of earlier times up to certain extent. It is undeniable that every time fights only occur due to 3 main reasons: money, land, female. These factors always explain that people who were fighting in earlier times are same as the modern people who are also involve in fights only because of these 3 reasons. However, lots of things in modern times were changed as compared to earlier times which explain some differences between modern and ancient people. Previously medieval wars occur all the time. Even occurrence of small discrepancies leads to the invocation of big wars, however, today people try to solve situations peacefully. Now UNO (united nation organization) is involved in solving the disputes between countries. Consider the dispute between Iran and USA which was resolved peacefully by the UNO. This is the change which was occurred in the society in modern times.

Furthermore, history also helps us to understand the mistakes done by us in the past. Learning of history makes the people to behave in such a way, so that s/he will not perform the same mistakes in the future done by him or by his ancestors in the past. Remember the nuclear bomb attack done by USA on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan whose results were catastrophic. USA had thrown the nuclear bomb to win the battle, but this make the life of innocent people living in Hiroshima and Nagasaki like hell. The repercussions of the blast, occur due to the nuclear bomb, are devastating because people living in these places remain infected with diseases all the time. A newly born baby, born with inherent infected diseases like some does not have eyes or some are handicap etc. History explains these entire things and this knowledge is more beneficial for a person.

To sum up, studying history will always help the person to be familiar with various situations, and it also explain him that how to handle any situation. If someone is entangle into the situation then through knowledge of history one is able to get rid out of any type of a difficult situation. The major benefit of history is that it helps a person in changing their behavior and make him comprehend his responsibilities which ultimately lead to the development of a nation.
