Some of the methods used in advertising are unethical and unacceptable in today's society. To what extend do you agree or disagree.

It's about 20 years that mass media has been become a Tribune to talk about diverse topics such as marketing and advertising. In this time, people maybe have had bad attitude toward commercials as a disposal program and I do too.

One of the aspects that makes ads disposable is telling lies which means that when you watch or hear them, they are full of spoken that are not correct. For instance, you can lose 8 kilos just in one week, for a wieght lose product. This statement is real apparently but is not practical. So public think that ads are not anything except lies or humans have been become adapted by saying not real items.

Now, customers know that commercials are activities that try to magnify the positive points in order to achieve their goals 'more consumers, more money'. Due to this fact, it is natural that these shows attempt to transmit buying patterns in families. For example, in the past, fathers were the decision makers for shopping but now children watch the commercials which show a child persists on getting specific foods, then they try to imitate this behaviour. Teenagers may not respest to parents' shopping factors. And it is not acceptable.

On the other side, consumers can not ignore the fundamental roles of advertisements in marketing today which means they want to access to the mass markets in distinct ways that all of them may not ethical. Marketers want to be global which cause not to pay attention to every ethnicities in this way adventing some conflicts in different cultures are common. To give an example, a sequence of a TV ad is usual in Europe but not in Asia.

Over all, in my idea persons who design advertisements do not attent to cultural rules which can be controversial. If they can plan more accurate scenario, it will be more acquiring.
