Language option
The graph is given shows that the number of 13-year-old pupils in an England school who have choosen 2 different languages include French and Mandarin from 2000 sofar.
According to the chart, French has been selected by approximately 150 students in 2000 and about 90 students in current year. So abviously it's had a downward trend from the beginning of the period to now. The trend has being changed by 10 people's choices between 2005 and 2006.
It can be seen that in 2000 pupils didn't prefer to chose Mandarian but by passing the time they've choosing Chinese language more. So that Mandarin choice has being selected with about 70 students at the end and it has had an upward trend during this period of time. Also Mandarin selection hit a peak in 2005.
Overall, while French choice has decreased gradually, Mandarin selection, conversely, has been increased sharply by distinct number of students in an English school in a 13 years period.
