Some people prefer to spend their lives doing the same things and avoiding change. Others, however, think that change is always a good thing.Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Apparently, throughout the history people have had different views about their lifestyles. To be more precise, some people have preferred a stable life, whereas the others have been in search of new challenges. Thus, opinions are divided so as to whether it is good to avoid changes or to look for them. To my mind, there are strong arguments on behalf of each option and that is why, before jumping to conclusion, I will try to discuss this topic considering advantages of both views below.

To begin with, the most attractive feature of a stable life is the little amount of problems associated with it. To go into details, people who avoid challenges, experience less adventures, therefore less problems. At that point, clearly, living constantly provides people with stress free life. Additionally, it is very essential to settle down, especially for people who are over certain ages. To elaborate, when people start family, they have to decrease the probability of further problems for a happy life.

On the other hand, as changes make life more interesting, especially young people can’t imagine life without them. I mean at young ages everyone long for adventures, and new challenges give them what they want. In addition to this, we must not deny that, regardless to their age, every person needs excitements, because they are very important in order to have break at boring daily routines. Last but not least, new challenges give rise to new opportunities and taking those opportunities is very useful in the process of self-improvement.

To sum it up, taking all the above mentioned points into account, according to my personal point of view, it’s better to have quiet life generally, but sometimes we must supplement our lives with new entertainments with the aid of novelties.
