Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society.others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Good societies are made up of good members. Having a good member , is like having a good society. Children’s are very much close to their parents and they are the first source to make children’s a good member of society. On the other hand schools also play a significant role in teaching children’s to be a good member of society. I will discuss both the views in the following paragraphs.
It all depends on how children are nurtured and raised by their parents and it plays a major role child’s life in society. A parent teaches children the etiquettes and mannerism to become good members of the society. Children also go through different phases of their life to get an idea about how to behave in a society and live in harmony. For instance, a children are always close to their parents and learn most of the things from them. Therefore, parents are role models and impact their childhood life in all directions. Further, at home they learn and play with their family. So behaviors of a child depends on the path or direction given by their parents.
Although children are very much attached to their parents but school is also the place where he can learn a lot of things to become a good members of the society. Education gives students a lot of practical exposure in life. It also teaches students how to overcome the obstacles in life and be a good member. When a child goes to school, it becomes an important source of child’s behavior and in school they get larger perspective of different cultures and communities all over country. Therefore, it broadens the child’s horizon in terms of varied cultures in the world. This prepares the children to respect and behave sanely in society.
However,I believe that children’s are very much attached to parents and they guide their child to be a good members of societies, but other factors such as school are also the places where children can learn how to become a good members of societies.
