Second map describes about Brightsea’s condition today. There are some changes in this picture. For instance, there is a ferry wharf added in the sea. Meanwhile, the fishermen’s cottages and the lighthouse keeper’s house are reconstructed to be a cafe and hotel. There is also a shop between cafe and hotel. Each building is seperated by road.
And the last map illustrates about how the Brightsea will become in the future. There are some plans for Brightsea to make some developments. A telecommunications antenna will be added at ferry wharf in the south side of sea. Hotel will be extended as well. There are going to be a sailing club near hotel. Some buildings will be replaced with new building, for example, cafe will be replaced by apartments and there will be a restaurant beside it. The other building which will be replaced is shop. It will be rebuilt to be a supermarket with a parking area in the front.
In conclusion, the coastal zone of Brightsea has changed from years to years. It becomes more developing significantly. The only thing that never changes is the lighthouse which will be in the same position as before.
