Universities should provide as much money for sports programs as for their libraries. Do you agree or disagree? Give specific examples and reasons
People are learning and practicing through out their entire life. Libraries are very important to the students as well as to the community. Some people believe that the importance of sports and libraries are the same; so that the universities should give more money for the sport activities.
To begin with, a good library is the collection of different types of books, magazines, journals and newspapers which stores the history, the important events and discoveries. A library brings so many advantages to the public especially to the students. Firstly, it is the cheapest way to get more knowledge, to do the home work, to make a research, to prepare for the lecture and to relax our mind through read some books. So it is very important to supply all new books, magazines, journals and so on to the libraries. Secondly, the libraries are the places where students spend more hours for reading, so libraries must be calm and quite and have comfortable chairs and tables. Moreover, it is a free place one can access computer and an internet. In my opinion it is the good place to meet and communicate with each other, read some books that you donot want to buy and gain more knowledge regarding the world through various books. For instance, my college library helps me a lot toprepare my assignments and case studies which helps me to gain more knowledge as well as good internal marks.
As for sports activities, i think it is depend upon a person. However, i agree that every university should have a play ground and afitness centre where students may have a rest after stressful days.
To conclude, I personally think that libraries musy stay the main resourses of knowledge and knowledge gained books play a very important role in the modern life. Hence, if a university has some extra money, they should be spent on the new books for the libraries.
