The table presents mean of expenditure, per month, per family, of general Australian household in 1991 and 2001. The information illustrates in term of Australian dollar. Along the decade, some spending pattern behaviors still remained, but some of it changed significantly.
According to stable behaviors, there were no considerable changed of amount paying for food and housing. It is 155 and 95 dollars in 1991, and went up gradually only 5 dollars per each category after ten years past. Furthermore, the number of money spent on non essential goods and services in 2001 also not shifted obviously from 1991.
