Average hours per week spent doing unpaid household work, by sex.
The bar charts elucidate the information about the hours spent on house works by the genders (women and men), who are in different categories; 0 children, 1-2 children and more than 3 children.
It is noticeable that, the married females tended to occupy more hours in non-paying jobs than those of males. A female with at least one child or more than three children showed not much difference in her non-income working hours.
The average hours spent on house work were similar, 60 and 52 for the married women with three children and the married women with 2 children, respectively. The least hours (30) contributed to do the jobs with no money involved, was for the females with no children.
In contrast, the average hours contributed to do house-work was lesser hours than those of women. In average, the married men spent about 20 hours on no income deriving jobs regardless of the number of children.
