The chart elucidates the changes in the age of population from 0-14, 15-59 and 60+ in two countries – Yemen and Italy for 50 consecutive years from 2000 and 2050.

Most of Yemen citizens were aged from 0-59 and a small portion is represented as people with over 60 of ages for the projected periods. The proportion in age group of 0-14 and 15-59 are predicted to be fluctuated. Those people of below 15 years will be decreased to 37% whereas slightly more than half of population will be accounted as 15-59 age groups by 2050.
Meanwhile, Italy showed different trend as there will be an incremental proportion in elders compared to those for younger ages. According to the chart, 61.6%, 24.1% and 14.3% showed 15-59 aged groups, over 60s and 0-14 aged group, respectively for 2000. The number of population doubled for elders by 2050 while the other two groups (15-59 and 0-14) are expected to decline at 46.2% and 11.5%, respectively.
