The graphs below provide information on global population figures and figures for urban populations in different world regions.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The graphs give us the information related to growth of population and urban people in various regions. Although these charts represent different periods of time, growth of population is obvious in both of them.

The first graph starts in the year of 1800 and ends in 2100. We can see that the steady increase which was held till the year of 1960 was replaced by a sharp surge. Besides this surge is forecast to peak at 8 billion and to begin to fall down in 2040.

In the second chart, we have the data about the projected number of urban people within developed and developing regions between 2015 and 2040. We are able to witness the standard rate of urban citizens for the whole period in developed regions. On the other is hand, the data in developing areas is quite different. The trend for the level of urban people is forecast to have a dramatic soar and to be higher than the triple number of urban people in developed countries.

According to given information, we are predicted to face a huge accretion in the number of people till the year of 2040.
