The pie charts below shows the comparison of energy resources used by New Zealand and German in 1980 and 2010. We can apparently see that main energy source of New Zealand, which is coal, increased and remained the main energy source of the country. However, Germany had 4 main sources in 1980, it has changed exponentially and nuclear energy become the paramount source for country.
In the first two diagrams it is shown that the decrease in natural gas and petroleum approached by sharp increase of coal resources in New Zealand. However, hydro energy resources remained almost stable, energy production from coal increased more than 1.5 times and became 150 unit of 200 energy units.
If we turn to the last two pie charts which shows Germany`s energy resources, we can see considerable difference between 1980 and 2010. The number of units increased twofold and reached 214. Coal resources remained precisely stable. However, hydro energy and natural gas resources decreased sharply, In addition, nuclear energy resources reached its peak with increasing 7 times.
