Overall, what stands out from the graph reveals that the proportion of voluntary-controlled schools was by far the highest over two periods shown. While the percentage of pupils in community schools were a steady rise in second period, the percentage of pupils attending in 3 different schools declined slightly. An interesting point is that in the end of period, schoolchildren in community schools were the highest proportion compared to attended student in voluntary-controlled schools.
Between 2000 and 2005, the percentage of students in community schools rose from 12% to 32%, which was recorded as the greatest increase. By contrast, the trend of voluntary –controlled schools decreased gradually by 14%, and falling trends were also seen in two other groups of schools. The percentage of students who came at Grammar Schools went down, with 19 percent students in 2005, while the trend of specialist schools were a downward trend at 11%.
By 2009, 58% was the biggest proportion of attended students in Community schools. These figures were nearly three times as high as those for the figure of specialist schools. The lowest percentage of students who presented in school saw in specialist schools at 10 percent. 20% students attended in Voluntary-controlled that was the second largest trend, while the proportion of grammar schools had less risen at virtually 12%.
