This line graph shows change of the rates of smoking in the Someland for men and women from 1960 to 2000 as indicated on the x- axis.They-axis shows the number of people from 0 to 700.In 1960,the rate of smoking for men was 600 for per 1000 people.On the other hand,rate of smoking for women was around 100 for per 1000 people,approximately 500 people less than men.From this time,the rate of smoking men decreased till 2000,around 250.However,rate of smoking women increased till 1975 around 300 people for per 1000 people and then did not change until 1980.After 1980,the rate of smoker women fell till 2000,approximately 200 people for per 1000 people,this is near to rate of smoker men.By looking this line graph,we can say at these four decades rates of smoking for man fell from 600 to 250.Nevertheless,number of smoker women for per 1000 people increased from 100 to 200.Clearly,this graph indicates government policy against smoking.
