The average annual expenditure of college students from three countries
The table compares the differences in the average annual spending of college students from three different countries.
Overall, in total country A spent the most money in the three countries. Also, in all countries, students spent mostly on accommodation and food.
Turning into the details, the total spending of country A was the highest number compared to country B and C, accounted for $5000. While the average expenditure of country B and C were considerably lower, at $4500 and $1500 respectively.
Accommodation accounted for nearly half of the proportions in country A; 35% in country B and 30% in country C. However, in terms of food and books, the figures were highest in country C, at 36% and 21%. Additionally, students in country B spent 23% of their total expenditure on leisure activities, which was slightly higher than in country A.
Lastly, the expenditure on other purposes accounted for 8% in country A and only 1% in country C.
