The bar chart shows the different kinds of venues selected by the citizens of 4 regions of the United Kingdom when they were on holiday in 2010.
Overall, the most noticeable feature is that hotels were the most chosen option in all 4 parts of the country. In addition, people in Northern Ireland preferred caravan parks to campsites and self-catering.
The most popular type of accommodation was hotels among all 4 nations. While around 55 people chose hotels in England, the highest number, about 45 people went to hotels in Ireland, which was the lowest number. In terms of the caravan, just above 30 residents of Northern Ireland selected this, which was predominantly higher than the other three areas where only around 5 to 12 people were interested in that option.
In contrast to Northern Ireland, the residents of England, Scotland and wales preferred self-catering to the caravan; approximately 30 people opted for this option in these regions. Camping and caravan were the least popular types of accommodation in these regions.
