The bar chart below shows the different types of accommodation chosen by the British when they went on holiday in 2010.
The given bar chart demonstrates the proportion of various kinds of
accommodation selected during vacation in 2010 by British people from
different regions including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
As can be seen from above graph , the percentage of people who used hotel
was the most prefered acommodation types in all four countries.
Looking at the chart, in England, Scotland, Wales, the figure of staying in
hotel was the highest, at around 50% . After that, self-catering ranked at
second in this survey data, accounted for roughy 30%. Whereas, the number
of two remaining forms kept at a lower level from 5% to 10% for each nation.
While the percentage of tourist who choosing camping form accounted for
nearly twice in England and Wales during the whole time scale, visitor in
Scotland followed a contrasting patten.
On the other hand, the quantity of traveller in Northen Ireland had a
completely different trend. Just over 30% was the figure of tourists voting
caravans in clination to self-catering category and camping, with more than
10%.
It noticeable that caravan form was more popular with British visitor in
Nothern Ireland than the remaining nations.
