This bar graph illustrates the proportion of income groups of middle-aged people who are dwelling in Sydney and were born either in Australia or foreign countries.
There is more Australian-born citizens (35%) earning over $1000 than who were born overseas(nearly 27%). Similarly, this is the same for people who have a salary between $600-1000$. in which the percentage of the former people is the one-fifth compared to the latter with a mere 15%.
However, for the workforce who are in lower middle and low income groups the reverse is true. Regarding lower middle group who earn between $300 and $600, there is a stark difference in both type of people, around one-third. When it comes to lower income group, there is nearly a quarter of workers came from overseas in comparison with the opposite with under 15%.
Overall, it is clear that the figure for people who were born in Australia is as more as that of those who came from another countries.
