The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The bar chart provides information on the ratio of Australians who were engaged in doing sports within 2010. In general it is plainly visible that overall elder Australian women were most active within this time period.
A clear look at the details reveals that females at 45+ showed the upward trend in their regular physical activity most. Almost 53 percent of women demonstrated the highest results in the activity, since men at the same age were less active. However, men's activity in sports increased to nearly 53 percent at their 20s. The significant difference between both sexes were at the age limit between the 35 and 44, when the rate of their activity reached by little more than a tenth.
Regarding the least ratio, men at 35+ showed the worst dynamic, as only almost 40 percent of them were physically energetic. As for women, their activity dropped out only in their 20s. Less than a half of them were dynamic and did regular exercises. Surprisingly, after the 65, the percentage for both groups became equal and levelled off, standing at nearly 47 percent.
To summarise, overall Australian women were more engaged in regular physical activities almost in all age groups that men all together.
