Overall, what stands out from the data is that the figures for men are higher than women only for the 15 to 24-year-olds, whereas the opposite trend is observed for other age groups. However, there is a marginal difference in the number of the eldest group.
Looking at the details, for men, the percentage reports the highest at 52.8% for the 15 to 24 year age group, while the least is recorded by those belonging to the middle age between 35 to 44, which is 39.5 percent. Moreover, figures for the age bracket 45 to 54 and 54 to 64 were quite similar with 43.1 and 45.1 percent respectively.
On the other hand, with regards to the female population, the data for the age groups 45 to 54 and 54 to 64, constitute the highest percentage with a negligible difference at 53.3 and 53 percent. This is followed by the 35 to 44-year-olds at 52.5 percent. In addition, one significant factor is the data registered for the elderly of 65 and above accounts the least at 47.1 percent, which is nearly identical to that of men.
