The given bar graph illustrates the proportion of male and female Australian in six different age groups who took part in outdoor activity regularly in the year 2010.
In general, it is clear that the percentage of men participated in physical activity was higher than that in women in the most of age groups.
Australian women, the proportion of women did regular outdoor activity was the lowest in the age group 35 to 44 with 39.5%, however, women who fell into the 15 to 24 age group saw a highest proportion at 52.8%. In terms of male people, men aged 45 to 54 engage in physical activity the most with 53.3% and the lowest proportion was men aged 65 and over with 47.1%.
The percentage of men in the age group 25 to 64 was higher than that in women in the same age group, average 51% versus 43.5%. In contrast, in the age group 15 to 24, the proportion of men was surpassed by women, 47.7% in the comparison with 32.8%. 65 and over group, the percentage of women was slightly lower than men, 46.7% compared to 47.1%.
