The chart compares different proportions of male and female who had a frequent workout schedule, categorized by their age groups in Australia in the year of 2010
Overall, Females were recorded to be more active than men at all ages, except the group of 15-24 people. It is also apparent that the percentage of 15-24 male and 45-54 female was the highest among the chart.
In terms of the chart for the 15-24 aged group, the proportion for men doing exercises regularly was 52.8% and became the highest figure for them, which was relatively higher than that of women at 47,7%. As opposed to the pattern of 25-34 people where the percentage of women dwarfed the figure for men at 48,9% and 42,2% respectively.
Moreover, while there was an insignificant disparity between the figure of women aged 35-64 years old, hovering more than half of the surveyed participants, the percentage of their sex counterpart slightly went up from 39.5% to 45.1% at the same age. Moreover, the percentage of people 65 and over in both genders was relatively the same at 47% each.
